We are looking for a Simulation Engineer for our Budapest office to make our team even stronger.
You will play a pivotal role in our product development process by conducting advanced simulations to optimize the mechanical and thermal performance of our products. Leveraging your expertise in finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and other simulation tools, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive design improvements and ensure the reliability and efficiency of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute simulation strategies to analyze the mechanical behavior and thermal performance of our products across various operating conditions and environments.
  • Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) to evaluate structural integrity, stiffness, and durability of components and assemblies.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and electronics engineers, design teams, and other stakeholders to interpret simulation results and provide insights for design optimization.
  • Identify potential design flaws, vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks through simulation-driven analysis and propose innovative solutions.
  • Validate simulation predictions through experimental testing and iterate designs as necessary to achieve desired performance targets.
  • Document simulation procedures, assumptions, and results in comprehensive reports and presentations for internal review and external communication.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Thermal, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) preferred.
  • Proven experience (3 years) in conducting mechanical and thermal simulations using industry-standard software packages such as NASTRAN, Ansys, Abaqus, or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical principles, structural mechanics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems and phenomena.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively present technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in English

a Plus

  • Proficiency in finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) techniques, with a strong understanding of numerical methods and simulation best practices.
  • Experience in material modelling of layered/composite structures.
  • Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for automation and post-processing of simulation data is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a product development environment, preferably within industries such as space, aerospace, automotive, or electronics industries.
  • Prior experience in ISO and ECSS standards.
