Embedded Software Test Engineer

We are looking for an Embedded Software Test Engineer for our Budapest office to make our team even stronger.

You will be responsible for planning, documenting, and executing the testing of embedded SW according to space domain compliant processes.

• Requirement, Technical and Design Specification Analysis
• Test Management: managing all activities related software testing
• Software Test Planning (test procedure definition based on requirements, environment planning)
• SW and HW tools selection and resource estimation
• Schedule and execute test activities
• Create documentation according to project needs
• All activities performed according to the space standards (ECSS: ECSS-Q-ST-80 / ECSS-E-ST-40 /ECSS-E-ST-10)

• 5+ years of experience in SW testing
• ISTQB (CTFL)
• Experience in test management
• Experience in embedded SW testing
• Reading and understanding SW written in C/C++
• Knowledge of any programming or scripting language to write automated tests
• Be open to learn SW and HW space industry standards
• Ability to think on system-level, working in more than one discipline
• Ability to work independently
• Good problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge in English

• ISTQB (CTAL-TA, CTAL-TM)
• Reading and understanding HW documentation
• Knowledge of measurement techniques
• Knowledge of ISO and/or ECSS standards
• Any experience in FPGA and hardware development
