COCA-DPM FPGA Comet Camera Digital Processing Module FPGA
The project aims are the design development, production, and verification of the Digital Processing Module (DPM) FPGA firmware elements for the Comet Camera (CoCa).
IDA E-BOX SSD Internal Dosimeter Array Payload Memory Module FPGA
The project aims are the design development, production, and verification of the Internal Dosimeter Array (IDA) payload Interface Electronics Memory Module FPGA firmware elements.
The project aims are the design development, production, and verification of the Digital Processing Module (DPM) FPGA firmware elements for the Comet Camera (CoCa) (within the Instrument Electronics Unit (ELU)) on board the ESA F-class mission named Comet Interceptor (Comet-I), part of the Cosmic Vision programme. The duties of the FPGA would be the reception, timestamping, and permanent storage of data sets, controlling specific camera units, and data transmission to the processor through the SRAM via redundant SpW. The FPGA will feature an ECSS-compliant design and is expected to be launched in 2028.
The project aims are the design development, production, and verification of the Internal Dosimeter Array (IDA) payload Interface Electronics Memory Module FPGA firmware elements. IDA Payload is the first Lunar Gateway internal ESA science payload, which aims to accommodate different ESA space dosimetry instrumentation and similar JAXA instruments into one payload to be hosted on board the US HALO module of Gateway. The duties of the FPGA would be the reception, timestamping, and permanent storage of data sets, controlling specific payload units, and data transmission to the processor through the SRAM via redundant SpW. The FPGA will feature an ECSS-compliant design and is expected to be launched in 2024.
