Head of Manufacturing

We are looking for a Head of Manufacturing for our Budapest office to make our team even stronger.
As a Production Department Leader, you will lead and coordinate the manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing of space systems, ensuring adherence to aerospace standards and maximizing efficiency across various locations.

• Develop space systems manufacturing, assembly, integration and testing (MAIT) management and coordination strategies
• Oversee, monitor and cross-coordinate space systems production and testing related groups and sites
• Maintain space systems production and testing laboratories productivity by monitoring the workload of functional areas and providing efficient resource management
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards (ECSS, MIL), safety and security regulations
• Propose space systems production and testing improvements, investments in accordance with ECSS space standards
• Propose and implement possible space systems production and testing related commercialization potentials
• Contribute in the implementation of company new space systems production and testing sites and coordinate the operational demonstration
• Maintain and optimize production and testing quality processes and methods to deliver ECSS compliant space systems
• Implement organization unit risk and alert management
• Monitor space systems production and testing related competences, implement approved competence evolution plans, monitor effectiveness, take necessary actions
• Regularly report to higher management

• 10+ years of experience in Lab Manager/Production Manager roles
• Ability and drive to solve practical problems
• Strong organizational skills
• Project management skills, including the ability to track and manage inventory
• Proficiency in English

• Work experience in aerospace or automotive industry
• Knowledge of ISO, AS, NASA TS or ECSS standards
